New opaque signs with a semi-transparent viewing strip make shelter advertising easier to read without compromising on bus stop patron visibility.
For the first time, roadside advertising company yStop is offering new bus shelter advertising panels that offer more clarity and visibility during the day and night.
The new panels feature solid vinyl with a partial semi-transparent one-way vision (OWV) ‘Viewing Strip’ in the middle that allows bus stop patrons to see oncoming vehicles.
Panels printed on 100% semi-transparent OWV vinyl (the same material that wraps around buses) can have visibility issues at certain times of the day.
The new Viewing Strip panels with greater opacity have more vivid colours and are more reflective at night (meaning they pick up more light from car headlights).
This means they’re clearer, easier to read and are more eye-catching, especially for shelters facing west or east.
